I am here to help you get ready for your Big Day so that you will feel at your best.
Whether your Big Day is your photoshoot, your wedding day, or a special occasion like going to prom or a big party where you want to stand out, or getting up on stage speaking at a conference, or going to your graduation day – I am here to help you feel beautiful for it.
It’s not just about putting on makeup for me either – it’s also about helping to give you breathing space in your hectic schedule so that you can catch up with yourself, steady your nerves, and mentally and emotionally prepare for your Big Day too, even if only for an hour or so.
Because when you not only look great and feel great about how you look, but you’ve also had a few moments to collect yourself ready?
You will also do an amazing job.
A bit about me…
I’m a law graduate who has worked in the music industry for over 10 years.
I was a musical child born in Japan, growing up in Norfolk. I’m half-Japanese on my mum’s side, my dad is a west country lad.
Like many girls, I grew up watching my mum applying makeup in the bathroom every day, spending a good 30 minutes looking after her skin first with all sorts of liquids and creams, then going in with foundation, eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascara, hint of blush, lipstick. It was a ritual that we ended up both sharing to this day, when I go see her.
And through the ups and downs, makeup was the one constant that I could depend on to look after myself and lift myself up.
After several years of friends asking me for makeup and skincare advice, and a few more friends asking me to make them up for their Big Days, including being the lead singer on stage; various headshots for their professional presence; overhauling an entrepreneurial friend’s makeup bag and routine, and creating a spirit creature for a short movie:
Seeing that transformation and knowing my hands and knowledge did that for them? It was an amazing feeling.
I graduated from makeup school as a BABTAC qualified Makeup Artist in 2019, and I’m ready to serve.
